I was very excited about this book and when I started reading it I was hooked in Chapter 3 when Dannie has the "dream", unfortunately it all seems dull to me after that, it would've been great if she had in fact "skipped" those 5 years and for her to figure out what happened in between. He’s definitely not looking for a relationship past the odd casual hook-up! Yeah, I totally do that. September 2020 It just made me worry. I felt like she was going to be taken advantage of. I had a hard time turning off my mom brain. I can relate to Orla. Boyfriends just complicate things in your life. I listened to it's entirety in two sittings as I didn't realise how short this novel was (only 272 pages). I have been reading more romance lately. Do not read my review if you do not want to spoil parts of the book, you've been warned! His sarcasm usually comes off as banter, but sometimes comes across as him just bossing Orla around. So, of course she literally falls head over heels for Aiden.
