The different chapters are played out on maps, which are all pages in a thick card book, the kind of reinforced book that withstands punishment from young kids. Better late than never though! It takes 1 to 4 players across 6 chapters.

Our The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game review, what we have to say about the cooperative adventure game that also has elements of a legacy and deck building game. The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game grabs the quotes and the theme by the throat and doesn’t let go until the game is finished.

Instead of the ‘grandpa reading to his grandson’ plotline you get all these interjections from Goldman himself. Read at your own risk. – Count Rugen (3 out of 5): The prince’s right-hand man, he was the one who found Buttercup in the farm and introduced her to Prince Humperdinck. (He’s blond, and I’m more into dark men.) Even she herself protested, “Stop thinking of my beauty. Tying that mechanic, into a jolt similar to the one felt during the movie when it snaps between the tale and the framing, is one of the many ways that it truly grasp the theme. Does it mean anything wrong? I totally dig that!) It pleased me too that in the end he was weakened by Count Rugen’s torture.
