Best money I've spent all year for what could be THE rock album of 2012.
They are titans in the same league as rock legends Led Zeppelin in my book, and they continue to hold that spot now.
Having grown up in the 1990s I am pleased to see many of the great rock bands like Soundgarden and Alice in chains are still keeping the rock n roll spirit alive for both bands have released very good albums recently. Rien à dire, Soundgarden ça envoie, ça dégomme et ça joue bien.

So I watched the show and was impressed with Been Away Too Long, a good rocker. Double vinyl LP pressing.
Can't believe so many copies of this great album are going so cheap. This is a great pressing and sounds much better than digital. Good album, if your a fan you will enjoy this. The guitar is solid, but not noisy for the sake of being noisy.
"By Crooked Steps" starts out with a, choppy groove but the effects on Cornell's voice are incredible and pulls what could easily be a chaotic song into something sublime. Having been a fan of Soundgarden since the late '80s it was great to hear this new material.

He's about fifty, and his voice sounds better than Robert Plant's at the same age.

In all this is a great return from Soundgarden and is undeserving of some of the vicious criticisms it faces from supposed diehard fans. However, nostalgia can cloud our vision.
