Very disappointed and thankful that it was only one nights stay. Originally built around 1882, The Glebe was given as a Grade II listed status in 1975 due to its architectural importance, gothic style & prominent spire. Glebe. The Glebe Hotel is a nice venue, with separate bar, dining and outdoor shaded courtyard. Liverpool City Centre is around 3 miles away, the local public transport is easily accessible due to the high frequency buses available.
The service was always quick and friendly , it has a good choice of beers and an extensive wine list and the food was of proper gastro-pub standard - as another reviewer has said , the tuna steak was a particular highlight for me .

If this was an upgraded room, I would be shocked to see a 'normal room' We cancelled our dinner reservation as the hotel appeared to be empty with skeleton staff. Check your booking confirmation email to find your booking number and PIN. Can a gluten free person get a good meal at this restaurant? If you were staying here you would also know the guests did leave the property. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful.
