The Avengers series is currently in the midst of The Age of Khonshu, which has Moon Knight assembling powers to try and defend the Earth, though in the process the world is reshaped in Khonshu's image. Over the summer, Marvel Comics announced "Enter The Phoenix," an upcoming event within the pages of writer Jason Aaron 's massive Avengers run that will feature Earth's Mightiest Heroes facing the legendary Phoenix Force once again. The variants feature different members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes wielding the power of the Phoenix, with one hero destined to become the cosmic entity's newest host. We only want them to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride! Marvel Comics will release a host of Phoenix Force-themed variant covers for "Enter the Phoenix," an upcoming storyline in Avengers.
